2025, 48TH GFA PNG National Fishing Titles

 The GFA National Game Fishing Titles, Papua New Guinea’s premier fishing event, will take place in East New Britain's stunning waters from April 11th to 21st, 2025, spanning the Easter Long Weekend.

This nine-day festival attracts anglers and boats from PNG and abroad, with teams of 2–4 competing over two action-packed days of fishing. One of the standout events during the tournament is the Billfish Shootout, a competitive and thrilling one-day challenge to land the heaviest billfish. 

Rotating annually between Port Moresby, Lae, Rabaul, and Madang, the Titles blend exciting fishing, vibrant nightly events, and PNG’s spectacular marine landscapes. East New Britain’s renowned fishing grounds and warm hospitality promise an unforgettable experience!
