TROPICANA BILLFISH TOURNAMENT IS BACK FOR 2025

Since its inception in 1998, the Tropicana Billfish Tournament has become a premier event in Papua New Guinea’s game fishing calendar. Held annually in the scenic waters of Rabaul and Kokopo, East New Britain, it attracts both local and international anglers eager to experience the thrill of fishing in the rich grounds of the St. George Channel.

Organized by renowned lure maker John Lau and sponsored by Tropicana Limited, the tournament is celebrated for its excitement, camaraderie, and the electric atmosphere it creates.
